(I)Legal basis

Measures for the Control of Chinese Citizens Traveling to or from Taiwan issued by State Council of the People's Republic of China

(II)Conditions of application

In case of extension of time, or business, purchasing house, study, or fosterage etc, the Taiwan residents shall obtain multiple endorsement or note for temporary residence for their single-trip endorsement of Pass for Taiwan Residents for Travel between Chinese Mainland and Taiwan .

(III)Submissions

1.Registration certificate for lodging

2. Copies of the Pass for Taiwan Residents for Travel between Chinese Mainland and Taiwan and the endorsement (examine the original one) (exclusive of the application for extension of time for the single-trip endorsement);

3.A recent 2-inch full-faced photo (exclusive the application for extension of time for the single-trip endorsement);

4.The one who plans to stay a period for more than 3 months and applies for note for temporary residence for the first time shall submit the health certificate provided by Sichuan Entry & Exit I nspection and Q uarantine Bureau;

5.Other certificates considered necessary by the endorsement authorities.

(IV)Other submissions for handling endorsement

1.Other materials that shall be provided by Taiwan compatriot for obtaining extension of time for the single-trip endorsement: ① Pass for Taiwan Residents for Travel between Chinese Mainland and Taiwan and examination and approval form for endorsement; ② The certificates related to the reason for time extension.

2.Other materials that shall be provided by Taiwan compatriot for obtaining multiple endorsement due to business or working in our city: ① Duplicates of Business License and Approval Certificate audited by industrial and commercial administration department, ② A copy of Employment Certificate (except the investors), and ③ A copy of Archival Registration Form of Entry-Exit Administration .

3.Other materials that shall be provided by Taiwan compatriot for obtaining multiple endorsement due to purchasing house in our city: ① Application Form of Taiwan Residents for Handling Multiple Entry-Exit Certificate, ② A copy of Certificate of House Property Right

4.Other materials that shall be provided by Taiwan compatriot for obtaining multiple endorsement due to study in our city: ① Application Form of Taiwan Residents for Handling Multiple Entry-Exit Certificate, ② Certificate of study provided by Provincial Department of Education o r Ministry of Education

5.Other materials that shall be provided by the spouses married with the residents of the mainland or their sons or daughters for obtaining multiple endorsement: those married with the residents of the mainland shall provide marriage certificate, ID card of the mainland resident or a copy of the permanent residence booklet (with the original one for examination), and the sons or daughters in Taiwan of the mainland residents shall provide certificate of birth or tenor of Taiwan permanent residence booklet and permanent residence booklet or copy of ID card (with the original one for examination) of the father (or mother) in the mainland.

6.Other materials that shall be provided for obtaining multiple endorsement for the Taiwan children fostered in our city: ① Copy of the certificate of birth, ② The entrusted certificate of the parents, and the copy of the parents ' certificates, and ③ The guaranty of the guardian, copy of the guardian ' s ID card or permanent residence booklet (with the original one examined).

(V)Handling procedures and time limit

Procedures:

1.The Entr y-Exit Certificate Approval Service Center of Chengdu Public Security Bureau accepts the application,

2.The handling policeman has an interview with the applicant for photo collection, data record as well as primary audit for the application materials,

3.The responsible policeman of Section 2 of the entr y-exit administrative department audits the application materials and the situations,

4.The section chief of section 2 of the entr y-exit administrative department examines and approves the applied,

5.If qualified in examination and approval, t he Entr y-Exit Certificate Approval Service Center of Chengdu Public Security Bureau will issue certificate to the applicant ; or, inform the applicant of the reason for disqualification in written if disqualified.

Time limit: 5 working days
